Older/Newer Volvos

Since I'm mainly a 140/164-series fan, that's what most of this site's about. Since Volvo has earned the reputation for keeping major components for a long time, quite a lot of it is applicable to other series as well. I'ld like to put up more information about other series, but will require input on that, both in the form of practical experience, and in the form of photocopies or faxes (or scans) of the maintenance schedules published in the various workshop manuals. Over time, I'ld like to turn this section into a technical reference for the various Volvo series, but that'll require a lot of work (and time, which I don't have very much of these days). So if you have other information about Volvo cars (technical data, maintenance schedules, tips&tricks, color codes, change histories of the various model years, lubrication charts, etc), please send them to maintenance@fangorn.xs4all.nl and I'll try to incorporate them into this page.
